Overview

A site is a logical definition of a cloud account or an on-prem location. A site needs to be configured and deployed before you can deploy an analyzer in an environment. Once you configure a site in the RansomStop Admin Portal, you may need to deploy additional services. For example, in Active Directory, you need to define a service account, certificate and install some modules to support RansomStop integration with AD.

Steps

Configure A Windows Active Directory Site

Deploy A Windows Active Directory Site

Currently, a site needs to be added and saved before you can do a deployment. There are some server side actions that need to happen, and those aren’t triggered until you click Save on a new site.

  1. Download the Active Directory setup package by selecting your Site and clicking Deploy

  1. Click the Download button

  1. Unzip the downloaded zip file
  2. Open the Setup.pdf file and follow the instructions there
